It is widely agreed that 80% of
projects are delivered late and exceed their budgets. That is why it is
so important that managers know how to plan, implement, terminate, and
evaluate projects as well as staff and appraise the team. Equally
important, they must work collaboratively and cooperatively with other
managers within the organization. This educational component will address "soft and hard" issues that can
assist employees and others responsible for specific areas to
successfully plan, organize and complete tasks and responsibilities
on-time, and within budget. It will specifically address practical
applications of standardizing practices for uniformity across
divisional lines. Standardizing practices eliminates wasted time and
resources, and enhances the performance and professionalism of any
organization.
