The Facilitation Workshop provides the tools for
getting high quality participation from the various members of the team
by considering their thinking styles. The workshop includes discussion,
exercises and roleplays. Participants are videotaped doing a roleplay
of an actual meeting and receive feedback to help them polish their
facilitation skills.
To prepare for the workshop, participants fill out the Myers-Briggs
Type Inventory questionnaire, which is used in the program to show how
understanding of thinking styles can lead to techniques for reading and
handling the participants. If desired, Strategic Communications can
customize the workshop by reviewing videotapes of past team meetings in
the client organization, or by interviewing facilitators to identify
problem areas in the facilitating role.
